Grant and Sheree: Travel continues to be an exciting part of their lives. This year they went spent time in the great American cities of Boston, Chicago (just missed the giant Obama victory bash), and Washington, D.C. In late August, they headed to Finland, Estonia, and Iceland, where they enjoyed stunning natural beauty and such UNESCO World Heritage Sites as the Fortress of Suomenlinna (Finland), Thingvellir (the ancient “parliament meadows” of Iceland’s first Viking settlers), and the medieval “old town” of Tallinn, Estonia.
Closer to home, the family enjoyed a vacation to the Uintah mountains during the summer and a several days exploring the red rocks of southern Utah in October.
